The University of Alberta International Undergraduate Scholarships offers exceptional financial aid opportunities for international students through a variety of undergraduate scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year. Scholarship Categories

  • Cora Martinson International Scholarship: Up to CAD $56,000 over 4 years for Augustana Faculty students with strong academic results and financial need
  • U of A Global Citizen Scholarship (IB Diploma): Up to CAD $53,000 per year for 4 years for IB graduates with leadership experience from Aga Khan Academies

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be incoming undergraduate students at the University of Alberta
  • Hold an excellent admission average (criteria vary by award)
  • Demonstrate leadership, community engagement, or notable extracurricular achievements
  • Meet nationality or regional requirements for specific scholarships
  • Possess a valid Canadian study permit
