Introduction

The Eisenhower Global Scholars Program offers an exceptional opportunity for talented young American graduates to pursue postgraduate studies at prestigious European universities. Through this program, four scholars are selected annually to immerse themselves in an academic year of intensive learning, hands-on work experience, and access to the Eisenhower Fellowships global network.

Program Overview

  • Host Universities:
    1. University of Oxford – Master in Public Policy (Blavatnik School of Government)
    2. IE University, Spain – Master in International Relations (School of Global Public Affairs)
  • Program Duration: One academic year (Fall 2025–2026)
  • Eligible Candidates: U.S. citizens or permanent residents
  • Fields of Study:
    • Public service and governance (Oxford)
    • Global economy, innovation, and entrepreneurship (IE University)
  • Deadline: March 21, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Eisenhower Global Scholars Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Academic Achievement:
    • Applicants must have graduated from a four-year American university.
    • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.7/4.0.
  2. Citizenship:
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Age:
    • Preferred age range: 20–30 years.
  4. Leadership & Service:
    • Demonstrate a strong record of leadership and achievement.
    • Commitment to addressing real-world challenges through a specific project idea.
    • High level of public service commitment, shown through career paths in public, private, or non-profit sectors, or an outstanding record of community service.
  5. Admission:
    • Applicants must gain admission to either the Blavatnik School of Government (Oxford) or the School of Global Public Affairs (IE University).

Application Process

  1. Research Program Requirements:
    • Identify your preferred university and program (Oxford or IE University).
    • Review admission criteria and application deadlines for your selected institution.
  2. Prepare Supporting Documents:
    • Academic transcripts from your undergraduate studies.
    • Resume or CV highlighting leadership and community service experience.
    • Personal statement outlining your goals, leadership achievements, and proposed project idea.
    • Recommendation letters attesting to your academic and leadership abilities.
  3. Submit Scholarship Application:
    • Complete the Eisenhower Global Scholars Program application form online before March 21, 2025.
    • Secure admission to your chosen program at Oxford or IE University before this deadline.
