KAIST offers a wide range of academic fields and majors for students pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree. The scholarship will cover all necessary expenses to complete your degree. The duration of the scholarship is 2 years for a Master’s degree and 4 years for a PhD.

  • English Proficiency Document (Exemptions apply for certain candidates)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an international student not holding Korean nationality
  • For the Master’s degree program, applicants must hold or expect to receive a Bachelor’s degree by August 31, 2025
  • For the Doctoral degree program, applicants must hold or expect to receive a Master’s degree by August 31, 2025

  • Document Submission Deadline: September 23, 2024 (Documents must be received by post)

How to Apply for KAIST University Scholarship in South Korea?

To apply for the KAIST University Scholarship in South Korea 2025, applicants must complete an online application and then submit all required documents by post. The application process is as follows:

  1. Complete the Online Application Form (Click Here) according to the provided instructions.
  2. Review your application before submission.
  3. Pay the application fee of $80 or KRW 80,000.
  4. Print the online application and send the hard copy along with supporting documents to the admissions office.
  5. Check your email for confirmation of document receipt.
