About the Cultural Managers Scholarship 2025

Launched in 2020, the Cultural Managers Scholarship Program has supported over 28 women from 10 regions of Peru. Now in its 7th edition, the 2025 cohort aims to scale the impact by extending opportunities to even more women who are leading cultural initiatives in their communities.

Participants selected for the program will enroll in high-level cultural and educational training programs provided by a coalition of institutions committed to cultural sustainability, social inclusion, and professional advancement in the arts and heritage sectors.

Financial Coverage and Institutions

Selected candidates will receive support from the following partner universities:

  • Lima Art Museum (MALI) – 4 full scholarships
  • Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University (UARM) – 2 full scholarships
  • Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) – 3 full scholarships
  • Universidad Científica del Sur (Científica) – 2 full scholarships

Additionally, half-scholarships will be awarded by MALI and UPC’s Graduate School to top-performing candidates in the selection process. These scholarships provide access to high-quality programs that equip scholars to lead transformative cultural projects across Peru.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Cultural Managers Scholarship Program 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Identify as a woman and reside in Peru.
  • Currently working in cultural management independently, within civil society organizations (NGOs), or in public institutions.
  • Show dedication to cultural development and community engagement.
  • Priority is given to women from outside Lima, and those who identify as Indigenous, Afro-Peruvian, or persons with disabilities.
  • Each applicant may apply to only one institution/program, so it is essential to match your choice with your goals.
